Some have asked where I got my name from so I will explain. When I purchased my first goats several years ago, my husband would tease me that I was going to turn into a crazy goat lady. He has this preconceived notion in his head that anyone who owns goats is at least a little batty.(i think he may have been right) He assumed I was going to turn into a tobacco spitting, apron wearing, toothless, braless, smelly, gnarly, barefoot old lady who sat on my front porch shelling peas while my goats sat in my lap. Im happy to say that so far this isn't the case, mostly not anyway. So in honor of his term "crazy old goat lady" I decided to use that as the name of my small humble business. If you are looking to purchase high quality mini and mid sized dairy goats feel free to contact us to schedule a meeting and I promise I will try not to spit tobaccer on yer shoes.
I was raised on a 4th generation Working farm/ranch in the middle of nowhere ND. To put that into perspective I graduated with only 7 kids in my class. We had cows, sheep, horses, and also grew wheat and put up hay. I've been around animals all my life and have a lifelong love for them.
I believe in approaching life as a victor and never a victim no matter what situations come our way. I love to see the humor in almost everything and am still very in love with the man I married 15 years ago and we're happily raising our 5 kids together. My greatest honor in life is to be a mother and it will always be my greatest joy.
We purchased our first goats over 6 years ago and I almost immediately started making soap with the milk. We loved it so much we ended up sharing with family and friends and then selling it. It has grown into a small little family business.
We reside in Kalispell, MT which is the gateway to Glacier Park and a picturesque lovely place to live. And visit.

I hate pictures of me, but often when i go to websites, especially where someone is selling something or writing about her personal life, I am scouring the whole site to see a picture of her/him so I Know what they look like. I want to see the writer/maker/slacker. So here I will begrudgingly put some up. grrr.
