the improvements

Remember when I promised that the next batches would be better. Well they are and I included pictures to prove it. Today the girls and I cut up the almond oatmeal loaf and they are so much more uniform and much bigger. The old soaps were about 2.5 oz. and these are all 5 oz, which obviously means they are twice as big. The price for the new ones will be $5/bar since they are equal to 2 of the other ones. They are all cut straight, thanks to my hubbys invention, and they look much more professional. Yay. They won't be ready yet for a few more weeks due to the curing process.

My little helper helping me cut the soap, using the nifty cutter Rye made.

Oatmeal on the top and ground oatmeal in the soap for exfoliating.

Much bigger and better soap.
New vs. Old

Drying huckleberry leaves for the top of the huckleberry soap. The pile on the right is the dried ones, I still have a ways to go. Thanks Dustin and Justin for the fresh huckleberry leaves. I forgot to get them when we were picking on Saturday so they graciously went and got me some.
