We used to raise flemish giant and giant chinchilla bunnies, as most of you know already. But when Rye took off to work in ND last winter I ended up selling them as I was already very overwhelmed by all the chores and everything else at that point, plus they were pretty expensive to feed as they were HUGE! Anyway I knew I would get more someday especially since we had the pens and supplies already. We chose Jersey Woolies and Holland Lops and so heres our new bunnies. They are both bred (hopefully) and due March 1st. Love the Jersey Woolies as they have this thick luxurious soft fur thats like wool. And of course, who doesn't love a Holland Lop! March will be fun for us as thats when the eggs should hatch in the incubator, when all other chicks come in the mail, and when there will be some baby goats born! Spring is just around the corner…..
AngelicaHer name is Merry but since we already have a Mary here we decided to use her registered name and call her Wren Merry. She's SO sweet. We got these 2 from a some youth rabbit breeders who raise these little rabbits as a business!! So impressed with them and their nice little rabbitry. Heres their links in case anyone is looking to purchase some VERY nice show rabbits, especially for 4-H. Fairy Tale Rabbitry and Fantasia Mountain Rabbitry.
