This was a pretty easy display using a wooden box I had and some spanish moss.
These next few are all of the mantle using this years special edition candle AND last years.
And yes, I am also fixated with throwing white string lights around pretty much everything in my house all year round. I will be doing a post on that soon! All the ways to use xmas lights all year. ;-)
Heres the shelf hanging over my tree bed.
Im obviously a nut who likes filling a jar with lights and using that as a display. This one happens to be full of glittery snowflakes and white lights. I like it.
Heres my white Dr. Seuss inspired snowball flowers in my vintage french enamel pitcher that Rye actually bought me for my birthday 2 years ago. (he has no idea he did that) Which I ordered on etsy directly from this darling little french lady in some quaint little village in France. And I paid more for shipping than for the pitcher. Im smart like that. But how awesome is Etsy?? Im a sucker for authentic things, and it was WAY cheaper than the US sold replicas….
Another glass container I filled with ornaments and battery operated LED lights. I am NOT a fan of LED lights. They need to go away. They are cold, too white, glaring and completely heartless. Please give me the old fashioned clear light thats warm and friendly. We actually get along.
So don't be afraid to plaster your home with candles and more importantly, actually light them at dusk and enjoy the coziness and warmth they bring to a room.
