Special Edition Candle
Since we all know what a nut I am about the vintage blue mason jars, imagine my extreme excitement when Ball released their commemorative blue jars this year for their anniversary! Its no secret that its pretty lame to get that excited about jars, but hey I don't get out much anymore, so don't judge. I stocked up and made some candles out of them. I have some ready to go, but you don't get to pick your scent, it will be a surprise. They are $15. and will last a very very long time. Twice the wax of my other jars and twice the awesomeness and just the price of 3 lattes. Which is pretty much how I price everything. For example heres me talking to my husband; "but honey this scarf is only the price of like 3 coffees, I mean wouldn't you rather I have a pretty scarf around my neck to hide my second chin, or would you rather I ordered 3 lattes that will just end up in my bladder?" He never really gets this, ( he doesn't really get scarves in general either so he obviously is somewhat clueless) but it makes sense to me. He seems to think just not buying either is the best bet, but whatever. (insert eye roll) And hey I can't help it that lattes are now pretty much $5. So just think of this candle as the equivalent of 3 lattes and wouldn't you rather have a beautiful smelling home with the cozy ambiance that a candle lends to it, or would you rather just go to the bathroom all day from drinking all those coffees.
